Bagpiping

Well unfortunatley its only when I can these days but i like to keep at it. As the say nothing stirs the blood like the sound of the Pipes especially if you dont like them, Its lucky for me that I love them. My family has a long history with Pipe Bands and Scottish Culture.

I was a member of the Otahuhu & Districts Highland pipe band for several years.

And a short still with Cambridge and Districts pipe band.

I belonged to Otahuhu and Te Aroha Caledonian Societies for many years and was MC Master of cerimonies for the Auckland Society and Te Aroha for about 12 years .

I hsve also performed in two Scottish plays as an actor directed by my friend Cecillia Mooney

The Mascare of Glencoe

And Bonnice Prince Charlie

both shows were performed at the Meteor theatre

This year I have played for two Weddings.

And surprised a very special friend by playing at her 50th Birthday celebration.
